We continue to watch with horror the events overseas being perpetrated by “Islamist extremists”.  The latest murders in Manchester are a classic example of the failure of a nation to deal with the underlying disease, while only treating the symptoms.  The United Kingdom arguably has more surveillance cameras per capita than anywhere else in the world.  They have not prevented one of the recent attacks.  Yes, they may assist in the investigation of the crime after the fact, but by that time, the catastrophic damage has already occurred.

We are told that Salman Abedi, born in England to Libyan immigrant parents, was “on the radar” of British authorities.  The fact that authorities were apparently warned five times by various sources that Abedi had been radicalized during visits to Libya, but did nothing about it, shows the abject failure of the system.  Fear of being labeled as “Islamophobes” is more serious that protecting the homeland.

News reports indicate that Abedi visited Dusseldorf, Germany on the way home from his latest trip to Libya, and that German city is a known hotbed of Islamist extremist bomb making activity.  Why was he even allowed to re-enter England under the circumstances?  Because, of course, he is a British citizen, traveling with a British passport, en route from a fellow (for now) EU country.  Incredibly,  Europeans are now  basically being told that they must consider these bombings and other acts of violence some kind of “new normal”, and get on with their lives.  Really?

My advice to people all over the world is to wake up and understand that Islam is NOT a religion of peace and love.  Like all religions, it depends on how you view and practice it. That the majority of Muslims are peaceful is immaterial. They are protecting the violent Muslins in their midst. At a minimum, tens of millions of jihadists are out there, and the destruction of our western way of life is their avowed goal.  All immigration from Muslim majority countries must stop.  Muslims currently living in western countries must be put on notice that failure to root out and report the jihadists can and will result in expulsion from their country of residence.  Those who will not repudiate any allegiance to Sharia Law must be considered as enemies of the State, stripped of citizenship, and deported.  This is war, nothing less.  Failure to realize this will only lead to more violence and death.  It’s coming, unless we have the resolve to stop it.
