It is becoming clearer every day that the America I grew up in is slowly but surely slipping away. If something is not done, it may be gone in my lifetime, and as I just turned eighty, that probably isn’t very far away. If the current trends are not reversed, we will end up with two diametrically opposed Americas, and that will almost inevitably lead to civil war. Once again, it will be a war against slavery, but of a very different kind. Our country enslaved by an out of control federal government.
Probably, as history has often taught us, it will have begun because of a very benign event, and center around a single individual. That person’s beliefs sounded quite reasonable when he came onto the national stage, but slowly morphed into something very different, and extremely dangerous to our way of life. His voice was almost soothing in tone, and the delivery of his message almost siren like in effect. However, like the “Sirens” of Greek mythology, his real goal was to drag our ship of state onto the rocks of national destruction, to be rebuilt in a very different form from the wreckage. In many ways he, and the minions who follow in lock step behind him, have done just that. They have:
“Fundamentally Transformed America”
That man of course is Barack Obama, and his minions are the loyal members of the modern day Democratic Party.
It is almost like something out of a Greek Tragedy that a party which supported the concept of slavery, and for a hundred years after they were freed, did all in its power to keep American blacks from excercising their God given civil rights, is now supported by them. It is astounding that the DNC can factually claim that a majority of black Americans vote Democrat, thereby continuing to support their former oppressors. It is also extraordinary that a man of mixed race could, because of the essential fairness of the average American, be elected twice to our highest office, and then proceed not to bring us together, but rather drive us farther apart.
Americans are indeed a kind and tolerant people, but they can be pushed just so far. Various radical concepts, such as sexual radicalization, or physical / chemical mutilation of very young children to serve the concept of Transgenderism. Allowing millions of illegal aliens to cross our wide open southern border. Bowing down to the Critical Race Theory hucksters. Condoning the rioting and looting after the death of George Floyd, a vicious thug, not a roll model. Denigrating our law enforcement officers. Weaponizing federal agencies against American citizens who are merely exercising their Constitutional rights to protest. Shutting down a major portion of our energy production, thereby once again making us dependent on frequently hostile foreign sources. All these things and more have been done under the current administration.
Sooner or later the pressure cooker they have created will explode. All this hasn’t gone unnoticed by our foreign adversaries. When we are physically at each others throats, we will be most vulnerable to attack from without. It isn’t a matter of IF, but simply When it will occur. It will take many forms. Shutting down all or part of our electrical power grid by a cyber attack or EMPs. A similar attack on our electronic banking system. Terrorist attacks using shoulder fired ground to air missiles to shoot down airliners. All these things and more are part of our enemies playbook. Meanwhile, we are focused on transgender bathrooms and using the correct personal pronouns.
Assuming we can regroup and prevail over our adversaries, and that’s a BIG assumption, who will be held accountable? What will be their punishment? Simply removing them from the offices they hold, or something far more severe? Remember, we have many people still in prison for being accused, not even convicted, of the crimes of “parading” or trespassing at the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. They are labeled “insurrectionists” by the Democrats. It’s obvious they don’t understand the true meaning of that word. If they continue down that path, they will find out what that concept really entails.
America has indeed been partially “Transformed”, but for the worse, not the better. We have been taught to be mistrustful of each others motives. We have been encouraged to be tribal in nature, some sort of mixed ingredient salad, rather that the traditional “Melting Pot” we have always been in the past. A wonderful blend of many cultures.

We must reverse our present course, return to what we were in the past, a country of many cultures, but a common language, English, to bind us together as one people: United States Citizens. We must repudiate the charlatans in our midst who would council us to do otherwise, even if they had held, or now hold, the highest office in our land.
One last thing. We must all remember that “Bull” Connor, icon of the “Jim Crow” laws anti civil rights movement in the south, was a Democrat not a Republican. Republicans aren’t the source of all the bad things plaguing the black communities in America. Democrats are the real culprits.
