I recently watched a 1998 documentary titled “The Last Days”.  Steven Spielberg was the Executive Producer of this very moving piece of work, which tells the story of five Hungarian Jews who survived the Holocaust during the period of the Nazis “Final Solution” to exterminate all European Jews, which started in late 1944.  Over 425,000 Hungarian Jews were rounded up in only a few weeks, and sent to the Death Camps.  Very few survived.  Of all European countries at that time, only Bulgaria refused to give up a single Bulgarian Jew to the Nazis, but even they weren’t guiltless, and gave up Thracian and Macedonian Jews living in their country, to be sent to the Auschwitz death camp.

The documentary tells the story of two men and three women, all children at the time, who somehow survived the unspeakable conditions in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Buchenwald and Dachau, and lived to tell the tale.  As of this date, I’m sure they have probably all passed on, but their stories, and what happened to them, should never be forgotten.  Currently, “The Last Days” is available on Netflix, and I highly recommend that you watch it.

We face an evil today which is every bit as dangerous as that which pushed the planet into the Second World War in 1939.  That evil is the forces of Radical Islam, and there are far more of them than comprised the entire populations of Germany, Italy and Japan plus all their sympathizers at that time.

The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan by the Biden Administration has placed an enormous number of weapons in the hands of the Taliban, and through them to terrorist groups worldwide.  Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas and Hezbollah, each supported by Iran, have all pledged attacks against American Citizens and interests worldwide, including here in the homeland.  Now, they will be better armed and supplied to do just that.

Meanwhile, the Democrats continue to look inward, ignoring the chaos they have created here and abroad.  Open borders, dramatically increasing the possibility of demographically “Fundamentally Transforming America” into a one party nation in perpetuity, as well as increasing our citizens dependence on government programs, is their only focus.  Just as the majority of the German people were not card carrying Nazis at the beginning of World War Two, the majority of the people who either voted for Joe Biden or turned a blind eye to the obvious 2020 election irregularities, Democrats, and the Independents who voted with them, have enabled all the bad behavior and chaos we now are witnessing .  Very similar to what followed Hitler’s becoming German Chancellor in 1933.

It is becoming apparent that the tribalism being promoted by the Democratic Party is demonizing a group of Americans solely because of a characteristic beyond their control.  Simply the color of their skin.  In the minds of the most virulent and radical leftists, whites who identify as Republicans or conservatives are enemies, who must be eliminated by whatever means necessary.  To them, we have become the European Jews of the 21st Century, and must be wiped out or subjugated before their dream of a Socialist Utopia can be realized.

So now, as we watch various Democratic politicians, from our addled Chief Executive on down, attempt to tighten control over our lives with vaccine and mask mandates etc, we realize something far more serious is going on.  Will the lack of a “Vaccine Passport” or basically useless face covering become synonymous with the yellow Star of David the Jews were required to wear whenever they went outside in the “Last Days”?

One of the women in the documentary said that the most shocking thing to her was the way they were treated by non-Jewish Hungarians who had formerly been friends and neighbors, when they were rounded up by the Nazis and loaded onto cattle cars for the trip to the death camps.  Their fellow townspeople instead of supporting them shouted threats and insults as they marched by.  It was mind numbing and inconceivable.

For those of you on the left, many of whom are American Jews, by the way, I can assure you that the eighty-five million people who voted for Donald Trump last November and their extended families will not be so subservient when and if  you try to come for us.  We, unlike you, have learned the lessons of the past.  We know we are privileged to live in the finest nation the world has ever produced.  We are aware of our faults, but also of our great triumphs.  We are proud, not ashamed to be called Americans.  Come for us at your peril.  You have been forewarned.
