Is This The Best You Can Choose?

For the life of me I can’t understand why voters pick some of the politicians they do.  Case in point is Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson.  She of the faux cowboy hats.  I don’t expect politicians to necessarily be smarter than the citizens they represent, but I don’t expect them to be grossly stupid either.  Representative Wilson joins two other female members of Congress in a pantheon of ignorance.  She, along with Congresswomen Maxine Waters of California and Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas are three of the most outrageous examples of bigoted demagogues ever to worm their way into national politics.

Over the years we have watched the antics of Waters and Lee as they fumbled their way through national issues.  From what I can tell, their combined intellects would not allow them to keep a job in almost any corporation at anything above entry level.  A quick search discovers no meaningful legislation that they ever have proposed, and their record is replete with the basest sort of identity politics imaginable, filled with race baiting rants and intellectual drivel.  However, that low level of achievement has been driven one step lower by Representative Wilson.

After publicly criticizing the effort made by President Trump to console the widow of Army Sgt. La David Johnson, who with three others was killed in an ambush in Niger, she went on to call White House Chief of Staff John Kelly a “racist” because he grew up in a predominantly Irish section of Boston.  Kelly, a highly decorated Four Star Marine General is himself a “Gold Star Father”. He lost his son, a Marine 1st. Lt., in combat in Afghanistan in 2010.  Knowing from experience how difficult it is to make or receive such a phone call, he advised the President on what to say to the family.

Representative Wison is beneath contempt.  It is she, along with Representatives Waters and Lee, who are the racists.  They have exposed themselves as such on numerous occasions.  It is time to call for an end to the “Congressional Black Caucus” and the “Congressional Hispanic Caucus”.  By their very nature they call for divisiveness and segregation, issues they supposedly abhor.  Imagine if there was a demand for a “Congressional White Caucus” to fight against the rampant reverse discrimination which has come into being since the mid 1960’s?  The public outcry from the mass media would be deafening!  One last thing.  shouldn’t Shiela Jackson Lee change her name? After all, Jackson (aka “Stonewall”) and Lee  (aka Robert E.) were Civil War Confederate Generals. How inappropriate!
