Merry Christmas!

President Trump recently addressed a meeting of the “Values Voter Summit” in Washington, DC.  As part of his speech he assured the mainly Conservative Christian attendees of the conference that as far as he was concerned it was once again permissible to say “Merry Christmas” in this country.  Good for him.  However, that he should even have to make such a statement is indicative of how far down the secular-atheist rathole the left has dragged our nation, especially during the eight years of the Obama Administration.

Do you remember when Obama told us we were no longer a predominately Christian Nation?  Do you remember when he said, in his annual address to the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2012: “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”?

President Trump, honoring the memory of our Founding Fathers and their religious beliefs, as stated many times in the Founding Documents of this nation, has once again affirmed that we are indeed still a mainly Christian nation.  A nation however, that is tolerant of all other faiths, unlike many of the predominantly Muslim countries on this planet.

We can only hope that Trump’s common sense approach to issues, not driven by political correctness or party doctrine, will continue to lead us out of the “swamp” and back to what we have been in the past, a leader, not a follower, in world affairs.  A force for good against the legions of evil and oppression.  A continued beacon of hope to oppressed peoples all over this planet.  So, although it is more than two months in the future, may I wish you all an early, very Merry Christmas, and a joyous holiday season!
