July 17, 2020 will be the twenty-fourth anniversary of the crash of TWA 800, which took the lives of all two hundred and thirty people onboard. Individuals from what has become known as the “Deep State” participated in events designed to cover-up the true cause of that tragedy.
As in the case of the attempted coup against the Trump administration, which has been in progress since before he took office in January of 2017, high ranking members of several government agencies, including the FBI, CIA, NTSB and DOJ colluded to deflect attention away from the real cause of the crash because of the possible negative effect it could have on the re-election campaign of Bill Clinton.
Utilizing procedures never used before or since, James Hall, the Clinton appointed Chairman of the NTSB, allowed the FBI, under the auspices of FBI Special Agent in Charge James Kallstrom, to take over the investigation from the NTSB, although the FBI had no expertise in that field. As a TWA 747 Captain, and the head union representative for all the TWA pilots flying international routes for that company, I was appalled at the actions taken by Kallstrom and the FBI agents under his command.
Individuals, including members of the NTSB accident investigation team on site, were being actively intimidated, even threatened, by Kallstrom and other FBI agents. Eyewitnesses to the event were either being ignored, or actively pressured to change their testimony. When some refused to do so, their FBI Form 302 reports were changed by persons unknown to reflect the scenario being pushed by the Clinton administration.
The glaring errors being committed should have been obvious to a watchdog media, but then as now, the media was a lapdog to anything being portrayed by the Democratic administration in power. Keeping control of the White House was more important than the lives of the victims of the crash, most of them American citizens. Those of us who tried to point out the obvious inconsistencies were quickly labeled “cranks” or “conspiracy theorists”.
The actions of the “Deep State” actors during the last three years have now been exposed by individuals who are willing to come forth and present facts, not fiction about the actions of a cast of unsavory characters at the very top levels of government, up to and including the former occupants of the White House in both the Clinton and Obama administrations.
With President Trump in charge, there is finally an opportunity to expose the lies and reveal the truth about TWA 800. That can only be done by reopening the NTSB investigation into the crash. I hope you will join me in contacting your Congressional representatives and President Trump, requesting this action be taken. It is said that justice delayed is indeed justice denied, and it is long past time for sunlight to be shown on this particular portion of the “Swamp” in Washington, D.C.
