DACA and the Quest for Power.

The sign the young woman at left is holding says it all.  She’s here illegally and she doesn’t care!  One must ask, why are the Democrats so driven to protect the DACA group?  Are their motives driven solely by compassion for individuals brought here illegally by their parents, or is there something more? I vote for the latter choice.

It is obvious that the Democrats don’t want secure borders.  They want a whole new group of reliable voters to return them to, and keep them in power.  What better way than importing millions of low skilled people into this country who can then be cajoled, by social welfare benefits, into becoming lifelong Democrats?  The fact that these new voters broke our laws getting here, and then broke more by using false ID’s to obtain jobs and welfare benefits after they arrived is immaterial.

The fact that there has already been a demographic shift going on in this country for years is immaterial, Democrats want to accelerate the process, whether that is a prudent choice or not.  Again, it’s a quest for power.  We must never forget that.  They can attempt to cloak that in altruistic virtues, but the truth is always there, staring us in the face.

When Barack Obama said he wanted to “Fundamentally Transform America” he wasn’t kidding.  He was deadly serious, and encouraging an explosion in illegal border crossings was just part of the plan.  You will note that, sensing an opportunity to gain legal status, the DACA crowd are now demanding legal status for ALL illegals, especially their parents and extended family members.  This is “Chain Migration” run amok. Obama was able to double our national debt during his two terms in office, with no positive gains to our military readiness, infrastructure, or energy independence.  DACA was his plan, and he did it without Congressional approval.

If voters are so foolish as to allow their elected representatives to push through DACA, followed by a blanket amnesty for all those here illegally, and couched as “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”, they will reap a very bitter harvest indeed.

We have given the DACA group quite enough already, thank you.  We have housed them, fed them, provided for their medical needs and educated them.  It is time for them to take those gifts and return to their home countries with their parents, using the skills we have taught them to improve the conditions in their native lands.

If they are allowed to remain, they should be put at the back of the line for a pathway to citizenship.  Not to do this cheapens the value of being an American Citizen, and makes a mockery of our immigration system.  In addition, they should be denied any further access to public assistance of any kind.  They and their parents have stolen enough of that already.  Make it on you own, or go home.  Finally, they should be prohibited from sponsoring any relatives to come to this country.  No more illegal chain migration.
