I am vehemently against “transgenders” serving in ANY capacity in the United States Military. Why?  You’re looking at it. Bradly Manning.

In recent polls it was once again confirmed that the entity which is most trusted by the American people is not the media, not the politicians, not the judicial system, not the teachers or even the police and fire departments which are so vital to our safety.  It wasn’t doctors, nurses or hospitals.  It was our military.

In the bizarre world the “Progressives” would have us live in there are no absolutes.  Everything is fluid and subject to interpretation.  Nothing is black or white, but instead an infinite number of shades of gray.  Because we have no absolutes, everything must be viewed from a perception that all things are basically equal.  In the perfect Utopian world, everyone has exactly the same amount of worldly goods and opportunities.  No one is “better” than anyone else.  Work ethic and personal effort are immaterial. We can extrapolate from that that all behaviors and lifestyles are equal as well.  We can be persuaded that Muslim men should be allow to view all women who are not covered from head to foot as asking to be raped.  That is so in the countries many of them come from, so it should be so in the rest of the world as well.  We now can be expected to believe that even in the matter of one’s sex at birth, there are no absolutes.  We can change all that below and above the belt.  We can become “Transgendered”.

Homosexuality has been a feature of mankind from the beginning of the species.  It is mentioned in ancient texts, including the Old Testament of the Bible.  However, since same sex encounters can’t expand the population, it was generally considered an abhorrent behavior, and practiced in private in most societies.  In the 1950’s, psychiatrists began referring to it as an “alternate lifestyle” and the genie was released from the bottle.  The term “Gay” was appropriated to describe a homosexual lifestyle, rather than a feeling of happiness and well being.  Large communities of “gays” now appeared in large cities like Seattle, San Francisco, Boston and New York. Things went well for the “gay” community until “AIDS” was discovered in that group, which spread rapidly due to the unusually voracious sexual appetites of many of it’s members.  The history of that disease is well documented.

After a brief period of pull back, where many members of the male “gay” community afflicted with AIDS feared being ostracized, and put into camps like lepers had been in previous centuries, the “gay pride” movement came into being.  They became more flamboyant and aggressively pushed an agenda to give them special “rights” and protections.  Same sex marriage was proposed and passed.  It was basically shoved down the throat of an American public bludgeoned into submission by organizations like the ACLU and liberal politicians.  “Gays” who had formerly been banned from the military were now allowed to serve if they kept their sexual preferences private.  It became known as “Don’t ask, don’t tell”.  That wasn’t enough. “Gays” must be allowed to serve openly, to flaunt their sexuality for all to see.  Now a strange thing began to occur.  In their society, what had been a small minority of the “Gay” community now exploded.  These were the people who had undergone, or wanted, a so-called “Sex Change” operation.  I say “so-called” because while it is possible to alter ones sexual appearance, they still have the same chromosomes they were assigned by nature at the moment of conception, and that can NEVER be changed.

Since the “sex reassignment surgery” procedures are very expensive, the “transgendered” individuals began searching for mechanisms to pay for same.  Some were successful in having it paid for as part of their local government jobs.  In San Francisco, for instance.  However, that wasn’t universal enough.  There had to be another way, and it popped up under the administration of Barack Obama. Transsexuals, including “pre-operative” transsexuals, would now be allowed to openly serve in the armed services, and the military would be required to provide the sex change operations and hormone therapies required to allow them to assume their desired place in life.

The government under previous administrations, most notably the last one, had allowed care for our wounded warriors to deteriorate to the point that the conditions at Walter Reed Hospital, where the President goes for his annual physical, were so atrocious that  patients were being housed in rat infested, paint peeling facilities there.  This greatly embarrassed hospital officials when they were exposed.  The mess that the Veterans Administration had become was allowing veterans to die while awaiting an appointment to see a VA doctor.  Meanwhile VA administrators were receiving large bonuses due to the “efficiency” of the hospitals under their management.  With all this in mind, can we realistically afford to spend millions of taxpayer dollars to allow a group of seriously disturbed individuals to live out their fantasies?

Bradly Manning (who now wishes to be called “Chelsea”) was arrested in 2010, and convicted and sentenced to 35 years confinement by a military court-martial in July of 2013.  He was found guilty of numerous violations of the Espionage Act after disclosing to “WikiLeaks” over 700,000 classified or sensitive military  and diplomatic documents.  His sentence was commuted as one of the last acts of President Obama, and Manning was released from Leavenworth Prison in May of this year.

So, you might ask, am I inferring that all “Transgendered” persons are potential turncoats and criminals like Bradly Manning?  Of course not.  However, It is my sincere belief that they all are deeply troubled individuals, whose very presence in uniform undermines the ability of our armed forces to be the lethal machine necessary to defend our country from the many threats we now face, and will face in the future. Of all places where “social engineering” might be attempted, our military isn’t one of them.
